Well, I did not wanna use any external program for that tbh. I am asking if there are console commands that may allow it. Something like bind spacebar and jump after certain period of time while the key is being hold. I mean I may get banned if I use third party application so I can only use what came with my hardware or what game itself allows me to do.
nope sorry
Yeah mouse is indeed macro capable, altought I use it mainly for switching between nades weapons and bomb. Keyboard is not so I cannot make macro for spacebar even if I wanted to. That is why I am asking for some console bind.
Also why do you use so many keys on your mouse? Just rebind whatever you've on the wheel to a key on the keyboard.
I hate using my keyboard for switching weapons. I bought the mouse for 3 reasons:
1. I wanted to avoid carpal tunnel
2. many buttons to bind my weapons to
3. decent sensor
For me it just feels like doing so many things at once only with one hand, now I use both equally and also do not risk tapping wrong button as they are pretty distinquished on the mouse while on the keyboard almost all buttons feel the same.
I've a g402 hyperion fury with 5 extra buttons on the left and that's absolutely enough. I also have more than 50 hotkeys in World of Warcraft (including stuff like ctrl+6) and there aren't issues either.
So just bind jump on mwheel down and what you had on mwheeldown on spacebar for example. You can also just bind one utility item additionally like smoke, and when you can to grab a molly you press smoke twice in a row. This is how I do it:
bind "4" "slot4" (slot 4 = first utility - full set of utility = twice for flash)
bind "MOUSE5" "slot8" (slot 8 = smoke - if I want access to molly I press it twice)
bind "MWHEELDOWN" "+jump"
That's basically how all higher skilled player do it. When you've fear of carpal tunnel then you should do exercises against it.
Do u know what cheating means right? it not only refers to use external software.
What u want is a jumping script, and THATS cheating, valve won't care if u did it on console or in a external software...
just note that macro is considered cheating so its better not to use.
aside from that there is no other way
Nah, Valve allows usage of macros for example and why?? Well, they essentially have it in rules as it is part of the hardware configuration. IDK how would you describe software that comes with the mouse other than part of the hardware configuration. And scripts/console commands are also allowed as Valve has to allow them in the first place and if they think that some are not ok they are always free to erase them. So it is not fault of players that use what is not permitted, but developers not permitting it. Anyway there are plenty of games that have auto jumping allowed by default as long as you hold spacebar, so it is not out of touch question wheter or not CS:GO allows it or not.
Rebinding spacebar and wheel button can indeed work, it will feel weird at first I guess. Thanks.
Edit:
Btw I have small joystick for nades so I do not need binding for them as I have enough buttons for this purpose.
