CS:GO on a MacBook air ?

So i need to buy a laptop so i can work from it when im on the move, and i want to buy the new MacBook with the M1 chip, cause apparently its so much better than their competition.

But i have some concerns on how well it works. so if anybody has tried playing CS:GO on it or has any information about (works smooth ? FPS ?...) it let me know.

Also if u do, please state youre specs [7 or 8 core GPU, RAM and SSD size], as im trying to buy the basic version.

Mac books are not really recommended to play games on though

I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Air. Waste of time trying to play csgo on it, tho it does run. Nowhere near enough frame rate, nowhere near fast enough refresh rate. Don’t bother

an actual pc is much cheaper, and i have that, but u cant get the same processing power of a m1 chip in a windows LAPTOP for 1000$. and gaming is not my priority, its mainly for work, but i still want it to game if possible.
edit: i play on 60hz on my pc, so anymore than 60 fps woul be more than enough

how many FPS do u get ? tbh a consistent 60 would be more than enough for me

Ok I play on a MacBook Air, yeah it’s tough sometimes but it runs csgo pretty well considering it “isn’t supposed to run games”
Ok yeah you may get around 30-40 FPS but that’s alright and playable

You just need good launch settings and a few videos
