Skinport.com stealing items?

ive never used any 3rd party websites and had a $1000 + inventory but my friends introduced me to skinport and literally all of our accounts got hacked and our items all got stolen. Ik valve does nothing about it but big youtubers like anomaly are promoting this site and it is just scamming its users.

Easily detectable. Most 3rd party sites are also in countries like cypress who will not extradite. The real issue is when csgo is done and skins lose value. You will see these websites scam their whole user bases with no repurcussions

Sure, talk however you do want about third party websites, but every single third party website does scam a few users every once in a while, just so they do get some cut for their services, or how shall I call it.

There's no proof of that, because every single user talking alike that has been always silenced by the community with responses alike yours.
As for the proof... Do you need more than your own brain, understanding how does this work, and how easy it is to do it and then wave with a hand by claiming, I've done nothing?

you have no proof of this and you never will because the idea that they scam only a few to "make a cut" is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous because they make their money off advertising and the selling fee they have on their website. stop acting like every 3rd party site is out to get people when they aren't.

The just legally steal. Most of their prices are overblown from reality

was the original trade changed to a different person, again this may not be the site that scammed you, have you checked for an api key set on your account yet?

I logged in it sent me a text with a code I put it in and boom thats how they got in. I didn't realize at first cuz usually when I log into a new site I get a email but that is how they disabled my steam guard and got in. 3 days later it traded all my skins on random accounts in germany russia and france I believe it was. I wouldn't complain if it was a unknown site but its a shame sknport did this and I even checked the spelling on steamcommunity and it was all correct.

so maybe it wasnt skinport that scammed you. sounds like youre pointing your finger at the wrong person again.

If you have already been logged in browser with your Steam account, it would NOT ask you to retype your username and password. If it did ask you, well, ggs you got scammed with some fake ass Steam link.

With API key on your account, hackers can control and/or manage your trades, and presumably your account.

Delete the API key, change password, make your account more secure and NEVER click sketchy links.
