Level cannot see

Hello. I'm new to CS GO and my friends want me to play Prime competitive with them and told me to get a service medal to get free prime but they said that i need to be level 21 to get it. what i don't get is where can i see my level in CS GO and when i asked them they said that they cant also see my CS GO level. Can anyone help me or explain me why my level is not appearing? Thank you so much!

You have to buy cs go prime, to be able to play in prime Mode. There is no free prime anymore.

You can not gain prime for free anymore, before you could gain it after level 21, but after a update it got changed, now to get prime you have to buy it.
