I am getting report botted by some guy, will u still be able to overwatch?

Ok, so, i was playing a match. I am in silver because i just started playing recently after taking a 4 year break from cs go. Some guy on the other team started using a private report bot to report me for wallhacking, but, i was not wallhacking, just checking my corners and checking for enemies. Will i still be able to overwatch after all of these false, spam reports?

they actually made report bots worthless

you need to be playing the match to be able to report people playing the match if reports are posted from an account that dont play the match against or with the poeple cheating then the report dont count

so !? your ingame report only count while reports spammed by the bots are not due to valve adding a id for every person playing a match and the report contains the idfor that match

without the id your report dont count....

yes only those who play the game gets the id no other people has them...and they are random for every person....match id was implemented to prevent ddos and report bots

Report bots do work what they do now, is they use the Steam api to fetch the player's last match ( link ) and send that to the Ow queue ...... rather esy

i only reported them outside MM Valve official servers and they got OW banned ....

who said that only overwatch bans players on ranked matchmaking

also you do know that they probably play more then just "private servers and casual..right !? and did you know that everybody that report someone gets that message once that player is banned !?

you do know that report bots are a way to keylog your steam account and they could use your computer as a bit mining tool without you knowing....

All demos from Ow are either Wingman 2 vs 2 or matchmaking 5 vs 5 .... there is no Casual 10 vs 10

And? I got this message multiple times after I didn't play MM games for 2-3 months. I only reported people ingame and via steam profile when I faced them as a cheater on deathmatch.

Reports also count when you do that on dm. This doesn't mean that the demo from the dm gets into OW. Just a random game from him. It's always like that.

I see that quite often and I don't reportbot. I report ingame, once and once only. A spam of reports from same user still counts as 1 report. Hundreds of reports from people not even playing against that player = viewed as fake reports and if there is enough it can actually result in all reports being ingnored. So you are infact helping a suspected cheater.

OP. Just ignore them. Even if you got 1000's of reports VAC needs to detect cheats to ban you and Overwatcher needs to view the match to make a decision. If you ain't cheating you won't get banned

People 'report' me all the time whenever I play, its common and just people being salty and it doesnt effect you whatsoever unless you're actually cheating.

Makes no difference. Mass reports don't do anything.
VAC detects the cheats and Overwatchers make decisions. The quantity of reports don't do s***!

Even if someone had 999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 reports and didn't cheat they would NOT get banned.
