please fix this stupid "you cant play on secure servers" bug
at least once a week ill be in the midddle of a match and this freaking happens https://imgur.com/a/PPMEgJp

im so tired of it, the game better not lower my trust factor for every game it kicks me out of. this is gettign rediculous

is there a way to fix this bug?

validating files doesnt help, restarting computer doesnt help. every time this bug hits me, im already 30 minutes into a competitive match. its freaking annoying

Did you try reinstalling the game?

Maybe try starting the game through the shortcut and also through the library.

Something is blocking VAC or something is slow enough to block you from VAC
its rare that it happens, i just went 3 comps with no issues, then halff way through the 4th it happened. its jsut making me salty lol

lmao it can happen with connection issues. Might be external programs or something. Try doing
-high in the startup commands.
I just had a thread where this issue happened to me. Validating my game files didnt really solve any of my issues and ive summed it up to a poor internet connection. (steam has been disconnecting randomly all afternoon.)
well i set it as -high, thanks for that info, hopefully that was it and i wont end up seeing this happen again. im starting to worry its dropping my trust factor from making me abandon matches
so i went to "event viewer" in windows jsut to see if there was some type of error at the time i was kicked. and i found this

"The Application Experience service entered the running state."

its not an error. but its clearly what caused this issue, since it happened exactly at the same time i was knocked off.

so now im stuck trying to figure out what this is, something apparently turned on in the background, and i havent a clue what

I found this on the microsoft answers forums.
I hope this link is permitted. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-other_settings/where-can-i-find-application-experience-service-in/a499361b-b7c5-46d1-81c3-15a098860446

Appears to be a part of Windows Server 2003 (SP1)
