Discord Overlay not showing

My discord overlay is not showing when playing CSGO.
It's so frustrating because i need to know who is talking while we're playing on competitive match.

The other games seems to be fine, the in game overlay is working correctly but not with CSGO.

I've searched for the fix in the internet and nothing seems to work.
I have my In-Game overlay settings enabled in Discord, both in game activity and overlay settings.
I tried setting up the overlay hotkeys several times and it doesn't seem to be working.
I tried running discord as administrator
I tried disabling my antivirus, firewall and windows defender
I tried disabling discord hardware accelerator
And I have reinstalled discord 2 times, of course updating it too.
I have reinstalled CSGO once and verify the integrity of game files a lot
I reset the CSGO config too.

Yet, the problem still persist.

The overlay was working fine back in 2020 before the Trust Launch update.
My friends don't have this issue.

Bro, i've searched for the fix in google and youtube a lot and nothing seems to work. That's why i make this post, so that i could possibly get the fix from the others player that "may" ever got the same issue like mine, and figured it themselves.

cuse cs go dont work with any overlays since discord is counted as a third party app

try running in "allow third party files mode"

NO. this is FALSE. do NOT do this. Go to settings in discord, Game Activity, there is a list of what games you have allowed to have overlays on.

it will lower your trust factor and you dont even need to do it that way

it is wacky. youll need to disable it and enable it and wiggle it all around until it works. that's what i had to do.

I've tried it a lot. It kinda work sometimes like 1 out of 10 times, it's so frustrating thought.

i see. whatever you do, dont allow 3rd party software on cs. you will see far far more cheaters and your friends will not play with you because your trust factor will nose dive

did you ever find a fix?

the only fix is using this launch option:
-allow_third_party_software

and use fullscreen windowed, it fixed the issue
