Report a translation problem
I'm totally guessing but these the ones that sound reasonable according to what you're saying..
And when you get killed you still play some ms on your screen (eg, you did shot with AWP, died, and mate said that you didn't shoot).
I sometimes encounter it too.
Eg when i camp in box, and i hear enemy's shot, hear "dink" on my helm, get killed, and only after that i see how the guy rush the doors and shot in direction where i was. But on demo he rushed, he even had a time to aiming at me and then he killed me, and i just stayed all the time like afk.
So your screen and real scene on server can be really different.

You can only find your friends in the match than guests
I had it several times while playing that enemies just plop on out of nowhere behind a corner, or just vanish the moment their character's shoulder gets behind a wall. There was a match were the whole team yelled via voice because someone did not shot, he said there was no enemy while we were seeing that enemy right in his crosshair on specator.
clipping, z-depth, whatever. That "boost player contrast" option might be also a problem, or ubershaders on/off. No idea.
