CSGO vs VALORANT

Recently I started playing Valorant instead of CS because of how bad cheating is. In my opinion CSGO is the better game overall but VALORANT has a better player experience (128tick, an ACTUAL anti-cheat, more transparent communication between devs and players). I want to enjoy MM but that simply wont happen. What are your guys' thoughts between the two games?

I enjoy playing with irl friends and they dont want to spend money or have time to play faceit/esea so MM is our best bet for casual play.

He's not entirely wrong m8, have you looked at valorant's guns? The vandal is like the ak47 (with 25 Bullets instead of 30), phantom is like the m4a1s with 30 bullets instead of 25, operator is like the Awp, Marshall is like the scout, Sheriff is like the deagle, classic is like the glock/p2000, ghost is like the supressed five seven, frenzy is like the cz75 auto, Odin is like Negev, spectre is like mp5s, stinger is like the mp9, Bucky is like the nova, judge is like the auto-shotgun/xm1014......and the Bulldog is sort of like the famas....... phew

I hate how some people refer valorant's graphics as "cartoony" and therefore say things like "it'll attract kids from fortnite and fortnite is sh*t so we won't play valorant". Like seriously, majority of these guys are the toxic ones in csgo (imo). As from me, i would like to play both of these games as I like certain aspects of both games

People hate VALORANT for the only reason that they're worried it's going to be as popular or even bigger than CS:GO, that's all it is. In reality, it's a good game that will only get better over time. Riot Games plays no games when it comes to having the highest-quality in gaming and competitive play. Watch, in 2-3 years, at the rate VALORANT is going, it's going to be insanely successful with crazy competitive play, massive sponsors, and its own Esports League run by the biggest Esports company in the world.

That's why people hate VALORANT because they're worried many more people are eventually going to leave CS:GO for it and enjoy every minute of it.

No one is worried about csgo playerbase. It`s just annoying to see the same thread over and over again. NO ONE cares if you like valorant more, JUST GO but stop with this useless threads.

Valorant, popular because pay streamer and game reviewer to make people overhype, meanwhile Valve just release csgo trailer and boom!! people still playing until now.
Back to Valorant, also unique gameplay, have skill/spell mechanism. but, lack of gamemode. the game is veryvery competitive, mean people need to be serious to game. the anticheat was better than VAC but kinda untrustworthy because always open at startup and need to open everytimes if want play. some say it was in kernel mode which all have control on your entire PC

Many anticheats in the past have had kernel access too, it's nothing new. As for the game modes, the game is still new, it literally just launched 5 months back. Give it some time and it'll definitely improve. They'll most likely add the feature of making community servers and maps but it'll take some time.

While I like Csgo a lot more than Valorant, and Valorant can't replace CSGO. Valorant has sooo many things better than csgo. Actual anti-cheat, good and balanced matchmaking, much better servers.Both are free games but valorant isn't filled with cheaters.

The only problems with Valorant are boring maps and a bit slow movement. Other than that, I think it's a pretty good game.

Both csgo and valorant can be played competitively and casually, there's no sharp contrast between both these games in this case
