CSGO unbalanced matchmaking
Matchmaking on CSGO has been extremely unbalanced for me recently. I'm getting into matches with people 4-5 ranks higher than me consistently. Not sure if this is just because of the recent new operation, or it's so broken to the point that I shouldn't even be playing it. Is anyone else seeing this? I understand they wanted to decrease the time to find a match, but this is just getting ridiculous. Would something like ESEA or Faceit be any better?

Esea is hard to play depending on your rank now but is worth it

ive started playing faceit again, and they ironically recently changed their matchmaking algorithms. so far it seems balanced.

yeah dude same for me, me and my friends are silver elite and we just played a game against an entire team of master guardian and high gold novas. We had one master guardian and one nova on our team. we experience this ♥♥♥♥ on a regular basis. is there any official person or forum i can say something to because i dont understand how the mm is that broken

It could be that a lot of players are now playing broken fang premier matchmaking so there is less players to choose from. By my experience longer you are waiting in queue the bigger the difference in gets.

This was in North America, during early evening hours (Central time). This was broken fang “premiere” matchmaking, which certainly lives up to the broken name.

I’ll probably just stick with FaceIt free, and then play premiere just for the challenges. As I said earlier FaceIt just came out with a new algorithm which is much, much better than premiere or MM pieces of ♥♥♥♥.
