If you use it your trust factor will be red.

What I do is I launch FaceIt Anti-Cheat which automatically launches my game in untrusted but it doesnt change my trust factor to red! And I can turn on the nvidia filters. Hope this helps.
and no. You will not be vac banned, only your trust factor will be decreased to red.

if that is a real command it is for servers not clients.

Because FaceIt has direct access to Valves servers, or how? Valve has code running that lowers your TF when you play non-TM, not FaceIt.

That's not true. It's for third party softwares outside of CS:GO. It is not about third party downloads from servers. Nvidia filters after VAC update are now third party software and it's automatically blocked but you still can use them in untrusted mode. Valve ruined it all.

You can play normal matchmaking on faceit anticheat, and I never had problems with low trust factor. It only changes to red when you ALLOW it. It's to block cheat softwares. I even made a post about this like 1-2 months ago.

I never said it was for downloads.

it does not make sense it is for a client.
I can load 3rd party software now and start cs:go just fine.
the setting client side does not make sense and won't work.

I mean, i couldn't launch cs:go in untrusted and in trusted nvidia filters doesn't work so that's my method!

And here is a reply from my post about this:

You will not get VAC banned for NVIDIA Freestyle or FaceIT AC that is correct.

Your trust factor will only change to red upon inputting the "-allow_third party" in your launch options.
Conclusion: Don't type -allow_third party in your launch options cause your trust factor will change to red.

Only if they keep it like that, and not accidently manage to hook into CS:GO without triggering TM change. E5 had players VAC banned because their launcher was able to run in TM. eSportal had Krimz and others VAC banned, because their client was able to run in TM.
