Stolen Skins from my account
Apparently, using a fairly strong password, (Letters, numbers, special characters, upper and lower case) along with the Steam authenticator isn't enough to secure an account. Also, Steam has decided it's not their problem, so no items will be returned to my account. ♥♥♥♥ Steam. It's not like I've got a ton of money invested in the game, just want to know they've got my back. Considering all the cheating in CS and now the failure to actually take care of an honest customer, I think I'm done with their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. may be time to see if Epic can provide a solid user experience and decent customer support.

So, to Steam customer support and the asshat who decided not to take care of paying customers, I hope you die of the Rona. ♥♥♥♥ off.

the Steam 2FA is working fine, you are the problem.
Did you used any CS:GO Items related websites in the past; like case opening, giveaways, tradeing, roulette, ect ect.?

i know what youre talking about, forgot what its call but its a kinda back door into your account isnt it... its like a URL?
How IS steam supposed to prevent you from entering your details and guard on a phising website?

he probably clicked on these fake trading site or giveaway
I don't use any of those. I stick to the steam store and sites. I"m old enough and smart enough to not use that crap.

Thats unfortunate
It pisses me off that Steam has decided to reward thieves. I paid to open crates, Steam received the money from me, and now that I've been hacked using their security, It's not their problem. Just like they can't get VAC to catch cheaters, they are too lazy to fix this problem.
You woud be the first one who got hacked. they cant bypass the 2FA unless they have your phone.
Also regarding trading they need your phone.
Are you sure you didnt got API scammed? if you enter your details on a site they will generate an API Key. if you try to trade something to your friend , they will cancel the offer and make a offer to theire inventory.
Check if you have any active API keys and revoke them.
Also check your PC for Maleware and change your steam password

it's your fault since you disabled your 2FA Authenicator because there's ZERO way that someone hijack your account without knowing your 2FA text message CODE or Authenicator on your PHONE

I had a guy try to scam me a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't give him any info. I only deal with Steam for any csgo items and I haven't traded with anyone in a year I think.

Steam always made clear your inventory is your responsability.
Its up to you if you wanna put money in inventory and risk it to be scammed in any method.
denial is not just a river in Egypt OP.

time to fess up and stop blaming others. time to take Personal Responsibility for the error in judgement YOU made.

someone "drove" (perhaps in Discord?) you to enter your Steam credentials on a 3rd party site. think hard it could have been even a year or more ago.

day 2 of this baloney blame game youre playing on this forum.

time to tell the truth, bro.
