the more that end up on the market, the more the price will drop

guess it depends on how people want to spend their stars

It is quite simple
The more cases are dropping = price of cases decrease ( drops)
Look at the price graphic on the market.
If you see a case with a amount of 700.00 pieces, the price gone be 0.03cent a case.
Let us say the same cases are opened alot and less dropped.
The price of the cases gone increase !
Example
The first AWP that drops from a new case, the seller gone ask 1.500 dollars for it.
Because he knows he has the only awp at that moment.
As soon more awp's from the same skin drops, the price can fall to 5 dollars
1 awp or 500 awp's from the same skin makes a huge difference!

So I should just wait for the operation to end and then sell them.

it depends on how much cases are dropped during operations.
The most other operation when i did get a case drop, i did sell it instantly.
Because i pay 13.50€ to play the mission , and did get 10€ for the case.
This way i played almost all operations for free :)
That happends only in the first hours !

Do they drop? You can buy unlimited amounts with Stars you bought.

I only know Euro prices, so,
1 Star costs 0.70€, or you buy max bulk pack, that's 100 Stars for 38.50€, 0.385€ per Star.
Each Weapon Case costs 2 Stars. That's 0.77€, if you bulk bought Stars.

The Pass costs $14.99 atm, thats $0.1499 per Star. But you have these 100 Stars in total in April 2021.
At one point there will be an discount on the pass. Let's say 50%, a Star is then only $0.07495 worth. A Weapon Case then therefor $0.1499, or $0.15.

There is no need to buy the Pass now, you can collect 100 Stars until April 2021 and then decide to get the Pass for 50% off or not.

This Operation Pass is only "Pay $15 now to be able to use the new skins now".

I think if you dont buy the pass , you dont get drops of broken fang ! ( i am almost sure of it)
Only when you buy the pass of the operation , you get drops of that operation.

The faster you buy the pass , the faster you get the money of your pass back :)
