You need to understand that if someone wanted to cheat at lan, they aren't going to use the same type of cheats you would see people using in mm. These are cheats made to specifically be used on lan and cost huge amounts of money. You need to look up who kqly is and read about him. He was an ex-pro who got banned for cheating. His cheat apparently worked by being downloaded onto his pc from the steam workshop. This is back when the security on lans was not good, and I personally believe that more pros at the time would have taken advantage of this and could have cheated as well.
These days, the security at lans is better and cheating would be harder, but it is not impossible. Have you not been paying attention to csgo recently with the coaching scandal? Many csgo coaches were confirmed to be abusing a bug which allowed them to view positions on the map they shouldn't have been able to, they would then pass on this info to their team and give them an undeserved advantage. After reviewing demos, it turns out that this bug was being exploited by coaches for years and was not just a one time thing.
A pro cheating doesn't necessarily have to do with reading/writing the game's memory. It could be something as basic as using an undiscovered bug, for example one which could improve the sound/range of footsteps more than the game allows you to hear. In fact, this was actually a bug discovered not too long ago. There was also another big a while back related to being able to see enemies by jumping in certain spots while they could not see you, which was being used in games and was later patched by Valve ( https://dotesports.com/counter-strike/news/update-jump-bug-removed-16359 )
That's my personal assessment of the situation. I am not saying that every pro player is cheating or the ones that you mentioned are cheating. I am just saying that it is foolish to imply that no one can cheat just because they are a pro, or just because they have accomplished a lot in the past, or maybe because they perform in front of a lot of people.
