Will I get banned for playing online on Manjaro Linux?

I'm using Manjaro Linux and Proton from steam, will I get vac banned for playing online? I've heard that using Linux doesn't really play nice with anti cheat systems (Looking at you Rainbow Six Siege)

maybe, im not a linux user but since linux doesnt allow battleye i believe you wont even be able to run the game in the first place

You cant get banned using Linux exept If trying to use cheats that reads or writes game memory. Yeah Linux had pretty good security untill Valve Vac devs noticed way to get access Linux root so Vac can read memory at its full capacity and spot cheaters. Before that there was huge amount of cheaters that used Linux for cheating cause Vac didn't work on Linux properly.

And proton is made by Valve and why would Valve let people use it If people would get banned for it.

It's not just valve games you can get banned on other games that use Goldeneye or anything like it.
