Riot Vanguard caused Vac Ban
Today I download the Riot AC and valorant since the Act 3 was released..I played valorant for some time and opened steam and got a VAC ban..Ive been playing this game for 3 year ..over 2100 hours and never have used a cheat .
Yesterday night I was playing retake smoothly .. Woke up today. .Downloaded valorant and AC .Played for some time and opened steam.I didnt even open csgo today and got a vac ban ..It happened so quickly ..I was seeing my steam profile in my mobile app in the morning there was no ban ..I downloaded Valorant in my pc and after opening steam I was VAC ban just like that. .Can someone really help me I swear with my life ive never used cheats in any game ever .. why Does just using RIOT AC cause VAC ban..

Can't happen to me because I don't use any cheats.
And I'm longer on steam than you.

First of all VAC only reacts to changes in steam related files/data in this case CSGO Files... and only bans you if you modified or accessed game-data in a forbbiden way. The ban transfares to every connected account (accounts which played on your PC, other accounts associated with you phone number, steam guard, etc).

VAC bans are delayed from the time of the detection to the time that the ban is actually applied. What you were doing when the ban was applied, is irrelevant.

all VAC bans come from the detection of a known cheat, whether it is used on the account itself or some sort of sharing has occurred (account, library or phone number).

Users are responsible for the security of the account and all activity on the account.


Can I appeal my VAC ban?
No. VAC bans cannot be appealed. If a VAC ban is issued incorrectly it will be automatically removed after investigation, but Steam Support does not manually remove VAC bans applied to accounts for any reason.

Thats not how it works.

VAC never bans people instantly, uneless something was exceptionally wrong. (Like having view angles messed badly or some memory regions modifed).
From experience VAC ban comes with 20-59 days delay.

This year i started playing mm and tracking my games. From ~250 games currently 25 contain banned players. And every day i recive notification about banned players. So this 10% keeps rising every day.

So nope. Aint gonna belive to this "banned for nothing" bs. You cheated at some point, maybe already forgot about it, but here comes bananana. Thats it.

no worries, i bet if vanguard caused your VAC ban it will be considered false and will be removed.

yes valve added an anti cheat system to the VAC database.
it makes a lot of sense.

I've had vanguard since day one, i also installed and played ACT 3 this morning.

I don't have VAC ban because I have NEVER cheated.

As others have rightly said, if it was a false ban, it will be removed automatically.
