i did it a few month ago, but forgot to redo that when i got my new pc
How do you figure that out? Where do the benchmarks come from?
Also, I made this post elsewhere and apparently it has to be done each time you open CSGO. Do you have that issue?
Which background processes are you running which only run on core 0?
Your background processes should run on any core.
You can confirm this by closing all your programs, opening Resource Monitor and checking the activity on each core. If you're only seeing activity on core 0, then you might have a bigger problem than cs:go fps.
You don't need to set affinities each time you launch. They can be specified via a shortcut or batchfile, launching your process via cmd.exe. However restricting process affinities is much more likely to make things worse, rather than better.
How many cores do you have?
Do you have multi-core rendering enabled?
Can you post an image of your Resource Monitor | CPU please?
Your processor has 4 cores.
CS:GO runs 67 threads.
It's difficult to see how only giving cs:go access to 3 of your cores can do anything other than slow things down.
I'm interested in the screenshot, because I want to see the activity you're getting on each core.
Your peak usage on any core is 88%, so that case is throttled by GPU.
It looks like csgo isn't generating enough work for 3 of your cores.
What happens if you run with
-threads 8?
Also try dropping the resolution down to minimum, to remove the GPU bottleneck.
