You aren't ranking up because you aren't performing as well as the system expects you to perform.
Even I ranked up faster to dmg in mm. I wassecond or third
The higher rank you are and lose against higher rank, the less points you will lose.
It is simple, easy to understand.
To your situation OP, you have most likely played against lower ranked players than you were.
Reality check, dude, 12-15 kills is NOT carrying. That's what realistic players would identify as "average performance". You don't deserve a rankup if this is what you interpret as "carrying"; get off your throne.
Good; keep doing that.
I ranked in on MG2, 3 wins after, I got MGE (3 out of 3 games were wins)
Then, after a winning streak of 22 games! 22!!, where I really carry - and with carry I mean that i mostly played 2 v 1, mate like 2 kills, I have the rest. Most of these 22 games went that way. There were some close calls, but overall, all wins. Did I rank up? No! Still MGE.
Lost one game, won another 6 with 2 ties in between. Enemys got stronger, rank didn't change. I am playing against DMG, LE and LEM ranked players, but no uprank even tho I do win...
[EDIT]: I started to face LE and LEM some time after the huge winning streak. tied some, lost some, won some. But still more win/tie then loss. Now I am playing against MGE and DMG again, winning one after the other (only lost 2 games out of 13 or so) and still no uprank xD
I mean yea... I already got used to it...and afterall, constandly winning isn't that bad tho... So I actually stopped complaining and laugh for my self about it. I was just curious if this is a problem that more people face
To your situations, what most of you described, you have played against lower ranked players than you were, so you gained less points, than you would gain, if you would have won against players with higher ranks.
