AUG No longer a 1 shot head shot but SG is?!

Why is the AUG no longer a one shot headshot but the SG is? Why would the Ts have another rifle that is a one tap kill but the CTs equilalent isn't? Hopefully one of you 300 IQ players can explain for me. Thanks!

afaik the aug never was 1shot outside of really close range (like taser hit range) also same applies as with the m4, game balance

hmm i had it in memory that it was 1shot against helmets at really close range, may be wrong though since i rarely use it, the sg though... not much more expensive than an ak, still cheaper than an m4, scope for holding long angles, enemies dont know its recoil pattern... quite alot of benefits

op considering t weapons are stronger the sg will not be affected unless they change all the t weapons like they been doing with all the guns

Yes it has been a long time since I've used it and I decided to try it in a wing man, thanks for the replies!

its situational, i sometimes use it if my position can be played by both a rifle and an awp (say being ramp on nuke, you could hold it with an awp, you could be there with an rifle) to be able to scope on long distances, move away to a rifle position and use it unscoped from there

The AUG has been and to my knowledge still cn one shot up close. However, the reason T's have 1-shotting rifles is simply because CT's have the advantage of holding the angle, whilst the T has to peak. This is simply a game balancer. Unless the AUG has been changed recently, it still can 1-shot, but up close as it always has been.
