Corsair Mouse Problem (Sorta CS:GO related idk)

So basically, whenever I have CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) open, it lags my game. It causes ping spikes, and I sort of fixed that with a wifi adapter, but that wasn't enough, I wanted it gone. So with some experimenting, I found that the problem was CUE itself, and when I uninstalled it, BAM, problem solved. But the thing is, I use a corsair scimitar, which has 12 buttons on the side that are UNASSINGED BY DEFAULT! That fact really annoys me, because now I can't customize the side buttons... The good thing is, my sensitivity is kept the same as I left it. So the problems are: 1. Can't customize side buttons! and 2. Can't customize lights (but that doesn't bother me). So, I'm left with the question of; Can I customize my mouse WITHOUT CUE? Or is there a way CUE can stop LAGGING MY GAME??!?!? (BTW I've tried deleting .dll files in CUE, that didn't really work)
