You're not timing it correctly and are essentially just jumping around like a nanna.

are you using a script? turn it off
Hamless Hog Nov 4, 2016 @ 6:13am

If you're losing speed at every jump, you're doign it wrong, if you're losing speed after going fast, it's because there is a speed limit over which you get slowed (i think it's 300).

i start running, try to bhop, getting slowed down a lot and keep bunnyhopping. i can move with this forward but im still slower then normal running

How are you jumping ? With space, macro or mwheel ?

mwheel
Good call, it's the best choice imo.

When you do your first bhops do you gain speed ? It is known that bhopping is totally random because the packet sent contains both the +jump and -jump in a random order.

i get a little speedup in the first jump cause of straving (idk how its correctly spelled). after i touch the ground next time, im getting slowed down

Most of the time if your first hop is bad just start over

You can use a console to check your velocity, if it's above a certain number (300 i think) you get slowed down, the goal of bhopping is to go as close a possible of 300 while going as straight as possible (because going 350 while going sideways is not useful to rush).
