Are there any servers where AWP's are banned?

So sick of this being the only gun these kids use, its the only weapon anyone uses anymore, no gun can outgun the awp, and when the whole enemy team is using it, its aids! Please comment if there are any "No AWP" servers

Learn counter plays, like closing the distance or methods of blocking the line of sight long enough to cross the opening. Or just do enough economy damage to reduce the number of awps.

Having a job is not really related to game hours.

There are community servers that don't allow certain weapons. Knife only servers can be fun.

every single cs game has had an awp in it. it's a staple of the game. it's so easy to counter, and since you're at 20 hours you'll be in silver prolly, so it's even easier

Youre new to the game. Learn how to play the game before deciding to limiting your self to awpless servers which probably dont exist. CSGO is the staple of the competitive 5v5 fps titles found on pc gaming. Its the most balanced and fair experience you can have (when there arent any cheaters or smurfs) and the only thing between you winning and losing is your mechanical ability to aim and move.

There is a reason CSGO is the most played game on steam atm and its because it thrives as a fair and balanced 5v5 shooter. The awp 1 shots yes... but so does like 9 other weapons in the game either in the body or in the head. Its also very expensive and can ruin a teams economy and turn the tables in a competitive if lost or misused. If you bought an awp and lost it and the enemies picked it up it could be the difference between winning and losing.

You only have 20 hours, cs has been out for over 20 years now and majority of the playerbase have been playing cs before csgo was even out. Do remember that a lot of the players these days were playing and peaked during their time of education when they had time to play, thats why a lot of users (like myself) have a lot of hours. We dont have jobs and just have school so we have lots of free time.

A few years back when I was younger and during the middle of secondary school I would happily put 6-7 hours a day into the game because all my friends played it and I had nothing else to worry about. Now Im older and nearly at uni I put maybe 20-30 hours every 2 weeks into the game but I still play non the less. You cant judge someone for having lots of hours on the game when youre amongst the older age range of a game where most players are in their late teens and early 20s. It is a game after all and mostly younger people play videogames

I agree but the problem is when you are stacked against a whole enemy team of awps, its gonna be one sided fast, ive lost 8 games in a row because thats the only gun they use, it doesn't matter if it is short range, long range, you name it. I don't use awp, my main gun is m4, ak, aug, ssg, ump45, no snipers. You say aim and shoot, but when these guys shoot their awp before you have enough time to fire two bullets, your dead, its the fastest gun in the game, its a problem in the game too, reason why there are so many people requesting to ban it. That's why im just looking for servers that have it banned

lol they only nerfed the movement speed of the awp since it used to be as fast as a scout. it will never be nerfed into the ground. it's meant to be a strong sniper and it's been like that since 1.6

Hence why I suggested learning counter plays like smokes or flashes. Or, if grouped properly, against silvers a rush to close the distance could work, but it will be costly. Creative utility usage counters an awp and can make awps less worth their cost if you know what you are doing.

not only is it expensive, but it's very punishing if you miss. it's a very balanced weapon, just learn the game lol
