"Your Client Needs To Update" glitch.
The yellow strip on the top of my game after i launch it will not go away. cant play with it either.
I have tried restarting my computer.
I have tried restarting steam.
I have tried restarting CS:GO.
I have tried entirely reinstalling CS:GO
I have tried verifying game cache.
Ever since the cheating update, I have launched CS in beta so i can play, or else it says i cannot because i cannot launch the game in trusted mode, which is a different issue but may have something to do with this?
Someone please help.

Opt out of the beta and post the error you get when trying to launch in trusted mode.

Are you opting out of the Steam Beta or the CSGO beta?

Opting out of beta brings back the trust mode issue. If use the beta it says it needs update, if I don't it says it couldn't get into trust mode. It's a no win scenario!

Then you're using something it doesn't like or have a launch option that is conflicting.

It seems to me, that they want to anger the players.

There is no official guide to get info how to find out the software which should be closed or get a list of programms which causes the untrusted issue.

@developers What is the problem to show the player a/the list of programms which cause the "untrusted" start?!?

If it uses an overlay, disable it.

I am not using any overlays.
An other analogy for this situation:
I am buying a car to drive it. It is not necessary to know how it works and how to get rid of problems.

I just want to start and play a game, not searching for a solution for a problem which the developer/a release causes.

Are you opting out of the Steam Client Beta or the CSGO beta?

Do you have CSGO.exe set to run as Admin?

What Launch Options are you using for CSGO?

Have you tried repairing Steam running as Admin?

Have you verified CSGO game files with Steam running as Admin?

Just like a car, there is a lot that can prevent you from playing (driving).

- Steam Client -> opt out and in
- CSGO beta -> opt (starts only in untrusted mode) out and in (client have to be updated)

Those questions and steps should have been answered before a release. An other option would have been to offer the player to set default settings.

Screenshot all teh programs on the Processes tab of Task Manager and post the captures to imgur.com. I might be able to identify what is causing the problem.

I just had the same issue. I had went to the beta due to the last update where it would not let me play for some reason unless I went to the beta. Now it keeps giving me this error. I went and I did the beta option for CSGO and restarted steam. It’s working now for me so no clue but that fixed it for me.

I'm sorry I asked.

Start closing things and try after.

Discord
FaceIt
Chrome
Spotify
AdjustService (motherboard related)
CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess
Check_Kill
Corsair (end everything)
EasyTuneEngineService (why are you using this?)
EpicGamesLaunch (only have the launcher you're using in memory)
GameManagerService (why are you using this?)
GCloud
Google Crash (not needed)
iCUE (I hate and don't use it now)
Java (just why?)
Kraken
Edge?
Store?
NordVPN?
Photos?
Razer (end it all to see if it helps)
Realtek (uninstall the HD app and just use the audio driver)
RGBFusion
Sherpa?
Skype?
Vanguard? You should exit that when not playing Valorant
XBox?
Your Phone?

I know you won't listen to this because it's overwhelming. You need to learn how to tune a PC for gaming. This has way too much stuff running.

For reference. This is my Task Manager before I load Steam https://imgur.com/a/zU3lGgY
