Valve....You're Losing the Wrong Players
"Vent Time"

I was in MM conversation within the past couple of days with players bragging about being "Paid to Play" CS:GO and "Oh tonight we are playing Silver 1".

I have since brought the conversation up in questionable matches and the "radio silence" is deafening.

WTF is going on when I can clearly watch players at Silver I level that are anything but. Don't tell me about de-ranking and not playing and suddenly being Silver I. This has been going on for weeks. I'm a Perma-Silver I player and have no problem admitting my skill level.

You're screwing the players that truly want to play the game and maybe get better but just give up due to being headshot as soon as walking around a corner.

Please know this.....you are destroying what was once a great game with corporate missteps in an effort to keep "desired" players. Let's just review:
- Anti-Cheat seems to be getting better.
- De-ranking GN and higher players down to Silver I.
- Trust Factor changes. I won't go into detail although there are plenty of youtube videos.
- Players clearly not Silver I owning anytime they want. These are 1,2,3 year old accounts
suddenly showing up to play.

I tried to throw a few games during a match a few nights ago to observe the reaction and the "Paid to Play" players wouldn't vote kick me. Grab a shotty...run to the front and maybe kill somebody but usually not. Nope, I have the video of how bloody good they were ensuring the game ended in a close match. Nobody can AK or AWP that good for so many rounds. :)

It is long although a message/idea/theory I have been working on for some time. This isn't an overnight effort.

Sorry your attention span is so short for such a conversation.

The system is fair. It aims to bring a 50/50 win/lose for players of all skill levels.

Silver 1 is no doubt a beginner's rank. It is a very flexible rank. With a bit of luck, beginners can win many games in a row. It will force the system to give you some nova players.

There had been too many topics made to blame Valve for being unable to "give them weaker opponents". I mean, it's a competitive environment. If you don't train yourself, nobody will be losing to you everyday. They will became better and beat you in your future games. The Nova that beats you today could be the silver1 you've won against 2 weeks ago.

Smurfing s.ucks, but if you can't handle it, you need to practice, that's not a Silver 1 only problem.

About TF i can't talk many much, this and my main account are in green TF, so many less cheaters.

VACnet bans are delayed, but works well.

I"m trying not to but I'm truly beginning to detest playing CS:GO. The only reason I'm playing at the moment is to build my video library of "CURIOUS" video and audio events.

Kind of hard to understand with your english but shouldn't you just get friends?

Play on retakes, get used to fighting Novas and above, and then come back to mm and wreak havoc in silver to quickly get out of it.

Hey thanks everybody for the constructive comments. I'll address a few before deciding to play tonight or not. :)

1. 50-50 Win/Loss Ratio - I have heard this and believe it is a great idea for de-motivation. Why,? I have friends that have come to CS:GO get pretty decent but unable to move to Silver 2/3/4 due to the people playing in Silver I and the potential 50-50 target. They LEAVE! What the heck is a ranking system for if not to allow better than average players to move up a couple of levels before getting whipped. No...instead we have these paid-to-play players, and I don't fault them as money is money, who are using their best judgement on who wins the match.

1a. 50-50 - If this exists how can I go on 7-12 game losing streaks but NEVER a 5 game winning streak. People know why I"m highlighting 5 games.

2. Smurfing sucks and you need to practice. I'm probably one of the oldest players still playing this game and I know my reaction time. It is what it is. I do like to drink and play as well. Don't play with me around 1:00AM. I also know when I get that 1 in 20 matches against real SILVER 1's I get 30 and 40 kills in those matches and win easily. But when I'm facing Gold Nova's, who I just faced recently, I have no chance and it makes for a TERRIBLE gaming experience. This is what drives people away from the game. YOU GOTTA GIVE PEOPLE A BONE.

2a Just to clarify....Final Match Win/Loss does not = Positive Gaming Experience. My son has all but given up CS:GO and it pisses me off.

3. Other comments in regards to practice. LOOK!!!! I was a very good basketball player who played casual leagues against college and ex-pro players. I know my skill level and playing the ex-pro players was an eye opening experience. They are that much better than the average person. Their reaction time is mind numbing quick. This applies to CS:GO. VERY FEW PEOPLE can play as well as "War Owl", damn I wish he still played, Nick Bunyun, TIMEISBUTAWINDOW, flOm, Stewie.......! I could go on as I enjoy watching these guys videos. I'll never play at that level!!!! EVER!!! But don't chase people away from a game because they aren't as GUD as the top players. Let people move to Silver 2/3/4 before whipping their butts.

4. "Play on retakes" I'm not sure what this means. IF i knew I'd be dumb enough to take on the Novas. My teammates would probably kick me though. #JackieMOONsucks. LOL

I can tell you I"m now researching financials. The paid to play players I'm almost 100% confident are not VALVE employees but business partners. I won't say much more...at this time.... but researching the money train is interesting. Even PPP money is part of the equation. :)

Take care players, for your benefit, I hope you're never on my team but always opposing me.

ive played CSGO for over 15 years. and i STILL havent played as much as elite level cs players lol we are talking 10'000 hours PLUS for some CS players. That's career level sht. Comp is for people that want to play competitive. You are literally playing people that have played for years. Some everyday. I barely play Comp but when i do, im silver because if you dont play much, you dont go up levels. lol. Then ill go back to it here and there. But you should be able to handle silver level. If you arent then you really do need to prac your aim and everything. When it first came out i was getting Master Guardian elite. But games Call of duty, pubg , Battle royale games have progressed. So people just coming into CS might be pretty damn good straight off the bat from other FPS games. Silver today might of been Gold Nova 3 when CSGO was first released. I use to get MAster Guardian elite pretty easy when CSGO first came out. Today if i started playign Comp again, im not sure it would be as easy as it was.

So when you have a lucky game and get 30-40 frags enemies are noobs, but when you have a bad game and/or enemies have a good game they a "dirty smurfs"?

Maybe stop drinking while playing competitive and work on your consistency.

Also people in silver amd gold nova are all in the low skill range. It doesn't matter what rank they've in these ranges.

And when you're such an experienced person you could work around that. Reaction time in this game is highly overrated.

Hi NyranXen....congratulations on playing for so long. I began playing in '99 when you had to own HalfLife and downloaded the CS Mod. I wrote early bot code as non-existed and we had to play against other people for a long time. Fun Times.

Appreciate your comments although they can be summed up with "Git Gud". You're entirely missing the point but I do appreciate the participation.

Hi r0mand...thanks for the positve....eeehhh let's be honest negative feedback. LOL

If you haven't comprehended the amount of time I have played the game and I can clearly see when people have better/quicker reaction time than me then please do not build your post count at my expensive. It's okay....go post on the "I'm not a hacker but got banned threads."

Stop drinking, what are you 16??? I'm drinking now and just won as 2nd fragger. Thank you.

Oh and lucky game???? I'll be happy to post my match scores as I'm usually mid to upper in frags. Sometimes people are being pleasant in their post statements but I'm sure that zoomed over your head. No that statement wasn't being pleasant. LOL

I honestly dont see the problem on smurfs,i learnt so much from them

Lets just remind few stuff here:
-someone better than you ≠ smurf

Hi Fasoleee, Do you guys just take turns replying with similar messages. Maybe you'll learn from my previous messages although I do understand the average person comprehends only 1/3 of what they read.

Since the forums won't let me post an image...I'll do this and you guys should really keep to yourselves until having a coherent reply. Oh and yes I'll continue to be detailed.

Final Score 16-11 Jackie Moon's team as usual lost. I'm posting Kill's Assists Deaths

#2 and #3 played so bad in the early rounds it was as if they had never played before and then particularly #2 became so good as the game progressed it was obvious the curiousness.

These accounts also curiously fitted the profile of someone who hasn't played in sometime and suddenly now are showing up as.......SILVER 1's.

I do find it curious I can't post the video of the round or even the real name and statistics. I guess when something needs to be hidden then censorship is the answer.

Jackie Moon - You can check my profile anytime. My image does offend some. :)
