whats going to happen to the skins?

prices got slashed hard since valve decided to put down Opskins. I got a knife I was selling and it wasnt getting bought. Whats going to happen at this point? I got my knife back but still.

Its kinda sad to see it go down like this.
What do I do with my skins now? Since now the value is only tied to steam market at this point. I know there is other sites but even those sites too have a hard time and they wont take my knife cause its one of those skins that doesnt have a hard value anymore.

If Opskins truly loves the community, that account will be sending trade returns to all users, base on their deposit records. It is a lot of work to do, and with zero benefit.

If Opskins decide to close, basically things vanished.

I do expect them to close, and seeing a lot of QQ topics on June 22. "OPskins took my item! valve it's your fault!" I believe many have been expecting the same. Perhaps mods have already discussed about it in mod forums. Can't wait to see the show on 22 Jun. : P

Opskins will no be able to follow through. It were the genuine players who spend money on the skins. Opskins and other traders are actually leeches of Valve. They trade items with each other, overpriced the items, and towards the end profit from legit shoppers.

If they were still under the illusion that they are great traders, invented online casinos, other currency types and betting systems, they will be getting a wake up call sooner or later. Nobody will pump money to them. People are pumping money to valve's csgo skins. It is Valve's success from the beginning.

If you have skins with OPskin, the best is to take them back. If you want to cash out, by all means do so, but take note of your competitors who will be doing the same.

The best is to just take back your skins from them, and use them in CSGO. You can also sell them on steam market to get future games. Elder Scrolls VI, megaman 11, Cyberpunk, Fallout 76.. those are all coming soon. : P

opskins is not going to close they are making a market for crypto game items to buy and sell so it will still be online, just the steam accounts will be blocked by that time. it sucks

Opskins websity, csgogem websity is not here welcome to steam community. I agree with trading only on steam community. I dislike things when something is sold for money. Is it unfair trading and scam.

- Only exchanges will be allowed on steam community. This will reduce the risk of fraud 90%
- The trading limit csgo skins will be changed from 7 days to 15 days

Yeah, great thing that Valve is finally taking action after just watching them break the rules for years.
This will be the best update since the 7 day tradehold that killed tradingsites, I'm so freaking happy that Valve is bringing the sites down and restoring trading to the point where it used to be.
