CS:GO OLD SOUNDS SOLUTION

Hello Steam support!!

STEAM & CS:GO DEVELOPMENT
As you know all the csgo community really miss the old csgo and miss the old weapon sounds
So, Me as a community member i would like to ask you to restore the old weapon sounds back but not in an game update
What im trying to say is giving us the old sounds in DLCs that we can buy them (Old Weapon Sound DLCs) from steam market and download them and use them in the game because the whole community really want the old weapons sounds
We can pay for them no matters what
And of course when we use the old gun sounds it should be safe from VAC
Please Valve do something nice for your CS:GO community...
What i said will be a great idea for us as a CS:GO players and for you as video game creator and developers
We will be happy for this and you will make more money <3

You have less than 100 hours on csgo. Do you even know how the old sounds sounded like?

I've played cs back in time when you didn't knew what PC is. Don't cry... But steam can fool you ;)

Just randomly saw this thread and its comments and I'm like on some agreement here with both the community replies AND the author. See, the sounds of old themselves aren't really bad (imo) though could really have used some tweaking so they don't rattle your eardrums while you're trying to listen to your teammates, footsteps or your own logical thinking e.g. the Negev and AK47.

But on the other side, the new sounds just sounds like, as many in the beginning have said including Hiko at one point, paintball guns and how hideous the sounds can rather be. But what came with that is a softer sound that helps the ears and doesn't as someone said in this comment section, ring out your freakin' eardrums after extended play. Now the whole gun sounds new or old are not objectively bad, they're in our honest opinions (at least they should be) and whether or not you liked/disliked the old/new sounds respectively is your opinion.

My opinion is, instead of fighting each other with pitchforks about "OOO DIS WANS BETTER" or "NAH M8, U FOKIN' WRONG!", a nice little idea would be an OPTION to decide whether or not we want either gunsounds. And I'll say this again, this is my opinion but I think most of the old gun sounds are better and a lot more distinct if not just too damn loud and scratchy sometimes. With my hearing already ♥♥♥♥, sometimes I can't identify an AWP shot from across the map to an Auto/Scout and in some cases, even an SG553 popping off when I'm at full sprint, yapping away with my homies/random teammates with the current new sounds.

That's my idea really, giving each player an option of THEMSELVES whether or not they want their eardrums rattled with my opinion of beautiful sound e.g. AWP, M4A4 and what not. If you read this comment in its entirity, thank you and have a good day <3
