How do I kill/slay someone using console commands?

I heard from my friends that they can use a command in console to kill literally anyone with their username. I heard it's a very long script/command so you have to copy and paste it from somewhere. And yes i've seen it working but they wont let me know what the command is or where they got it from.

im pretty sure u can only kill ur self in warm up.. not sure about community servers.

You need to put only a first few letters of the username, for example to kill me you can put

kill mfw

but be aware: it's recognizes small and big letters. if you were to kill someone called JoHnny you need to put

kill JoH

Obviously that won't work in multiplayer except if you are server admin.
