Edit: it can only be fraps, nothing else.
I have checked all the processes and running programs before posting, but because of your post i tried again and turned off every process excluding Steam that isn't located in System32 or related to windows. And once again - I don't have Fraps.
Seems possible, but why does it only happen with steam games. I tested with non-steam games such as Minecraft, osu! and League of Legends and it didn't happen there.
Did you make a profile for the games that it's beeping in ? If so, remove the profile and see if it fixes the problem.
And i also now discovered it only happens with ALL steam games from MY library, but doesn't seem to happen with games from shared libraries from Family sharing.
For me it Is only beeping in cs go, cuz i have a profile set for it.
Well i don't recall ever creating any profiles in the new Radeon Settings 2020 edition, i just remember turning off global settings that i thought were useless.
Btw does that sound sound anything like some sort of something turning ON/OFF, because for me it isn't just a simple beep. It also happened when launching and using Wallpaper Engine, which isn't even a game.
Yeah for me it sounds like 4 beeps, first one is higher pitched, then followed by 2 lower ones and then last one is higher pitched as well. Maybe we are talking about 2 different things.
Ok THANK YOU MAN, I've fixed it. It really WAS the Radeon Settings. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It seems that the software makes profiles automatically and for every game that was in a list, that i thought was "just a list for games" but it turns out its games it has made profiles for itself. Thanks for the help, but i still dont get the whole deal with the FPS counter and me not finding a single setting regarding any overlay/fps counter or whatever the ♥♥♥♥. Thanks mr. el disablo. And yes the sound was the same.
