unknown command: cl_crosshair

whenever i try to put in my crosshair command it says that it's an unknown command, any suggestions on how to fix it?

Unknown means it doesn’t exist in the game.
Use existing crosshair config in settings or try crosshair generator maps.

because cl_crosshair is not a valid command, cl_crosshaircolor, cl_crosshairstyle etc are

Download crashz's crosshair generator workshop map, and adjust your crosshair from there. Using commands for the right crosshair is more difficult, and might end up giving you not what you want.

but i copied the console command on crashz's crosshair generator, i even put ";" inbetween the commands

Don’t use console command if you don’t understand fully how it function.

i had a better time copying and posting them one at a time and if they still say unknown command id try tweaking the command a bit like deleting some letters then the command should auto show up

Why would you copy it

People copy their crosshairs to share to their friends or sometimes my Crashz's map couldnt find a 'dedicated" server so i had to manually put in my crosshairs as well

Why would you copy it

cause my friends and I sometimes hangout on our local computer cafe and sometimes going into the workshop maps dont work, so i need a quick and easy way to copy my config
