Report a translation problem
Just assume it as yes.
no one know, but i dont think so because otherwise whats the point of reporting people if reporting mess with your TF :P
I earned Prime (did not buy), so even though my reports were mostly accurate as I got messages daily, it did lower my Trust Factor. Trust Factor can also be VERY random for example, you can get 3-4 great games, and then you can get a series of games you'll shake your head at. It seems quite random at times.
The most important thing you can control is your own attitude. I have dealt with some very toxic individuals and have never been kicked, never abandoned, never hurt team mates (accidents happen, and a swift sincere apology is in order).
The important thing to remember is, you have to do your part and be the change you want to see. This should ultimately give you better Trust. Don't make it your job to report cheaters. It is Valve's problem, not yours. Only report when you are absolutely without a doubt sure that someone is cheating. It takes time to develop accurate senses because by design and nature of this game, it can appear as if a good player is cheating. Until you notice them making mistakes, or being unaware of yours or your team mates presence. You don't want to report someone and later feel bad about it.
Good luck.
Hello, maybe I can offer you some words of encouragement.
Usually it is the cheaters sending crazy amounts of reports because they have not spent time to understand the game. This is why most of the cheaters, get to play with other cheaters and players who are sore losers even though they are not cheating but sending too many reports also get to play with cheaters because they abuse the report system, resulting in the system putting them with more cheaters so their reports eventually do become accurate by matter of circumstance rather than report accuracy, thereby giving them a chance to get back out of Low Trust but with more sense this time and a chance to increase their reporting accuracy. This is so far my findings being at Level 0 and never spending a dime on Steam. So I would say, after going through hell, it does get better. Prime + Trust is generally much harder, and yes there are cheaters, but not the amount that are in Non Prime.
The system behind Trust Factor is made with good intentions but nothing is perfect. It is the best we have. Use it to your advantage by being someone others would appreciate. It will connect you with those similar to you.
dude believe i report a lot of people and i dont have problem with cheaters so believe me reporting WONT make your TF low forget about that, if you report someone whos not cheating he wont even go to OW, reports are here to help and also report people on every mode because some guys dont know how to report in DZ map, and believe me i am getting that popup message a lot not because i have bad TF but because i report a lot and they are getting banned and also about DZ map you can report someone from steam profile, and about spamming report that wont work cause when you report someone from steam profile for example you cant report him more han once, i just wonder why people are afraid to report others. Reporting and TF are far different things and believe me i have some hours in that game and i mean real hours and most of them comp i think so trust me and report someone whos fishy if he is legit he wont get banned and your TF will be fine.
i.e. reporting a lot you get bad TF, getting reported a lot you get even worse TF.
guys we can only speculate no one knows if you think reporting will be bad for your TF what can i say dont report, or report only in rare cases but you really think that valve would punish someone for reporting a cheater or just any game company you know its not that hard figure out if someone is spaming report and ignore the reports. So in the end spaming reports wont count and as long as if spaming reports wont count why do you think that your TF will go low i mean you are not a bot to spam 1000 reps per game :P and even if that count no one really knows if missreporting affect yout TF cause no one knows, anyways its up to you, but the report button is there for a reason even if you made a mistake and report and inocent player the players wont get banned
i agree
Abuse report maybe can
But how can u abuse report if u report one person each game(example)
Report abuse is report everyone with non sense
Cheaters say report lower ur TF so they dont get reported
Just dont spam it on everyone u will be fine i think, the worst case u play w toxic ppl, not play w another cheaters bcs reporting cheater that silly (what zro said)
And no one knows, just speculation by logic
Dont trust ppl who said it lower ur TF, even steam support cant provide u TF
How do they know if even steam support cant provide? Meeting cheaters randomly is make sense and common bcs fps game hv a lot of cheater, even in high bracket skill there s a couple cant be free of cheaters, many pro player meet cheaters, but their TF i believe is fine regardless how much they using report
Ur TF is low if u play w horrible ppl amd everyone using hack every single time and ur find match time is not normal, if randomly thats fine
Dont trust ppl who dont buy prime bcs they meet a lot of cheaters before so they spam it 100%
But they still can play at prime
How much u report ppl average each game or day until ur TF low? ( If u can provide more info thats useful so ppl dont use report button for fun)
Do u get any message/warn from devs?
