My Truthful Message to All CS:GO Players
Hi there,

I am aCATdemy. I am making this post to express my feelings and emotions towards the game and players. Recently, more filled players are being toxic towards one another in their team and I find many their performance getting dragged down because of this.
In my opinion, I find this issue easily preventable, but stopping it would be a much more challenging task. So in this message, I would like to reach out to players that are being toxic towards others, and those that are being a victim.

It may take a little bit of maturity to understand what I am writing, and that is also why the game is under "matured content". My message will be written below:

All players have bad days, including me, I do admit I get toxic sometimes. I understand that. Here's the catch, before you get toxic at someone, think. Is it really worth your breath? Is it really worth your time being toxic? Every game is created for fun, not for a toxic community. The reason many players leave a game is because of the toxicity and poor player management by the game moderating team. I get it, you get toxic at someone because they are bottom fragging and not performing well. Here is what I want to ask you, "Are you telling me you did not get bottom frag before, even once? How did you start the game off, what is your performance back then compared to now?" I understand, sometimes being toxic looks and sounds cool, but to the victim, they are just being hurt emotionally. To the people that are being immatured and toxic, you think you are always right, being rebellious and saying, "bla bla bla" to whatever that is being said to you. You don't want to admit that you are wrong and keeps thinking you are right when you are not. Go ahead, keep doing it and you will never see yourself up the rank ladder. For the victims, do not be affected by them. You can ignore them and mute them. There is not a need to fight over them knowing that you will always lose out. Just report them afterwards. You may also record a video of what they are doing and send it to Valve directly. You see, we need to learn how to respect others or otherwise, no one will respect you. Here's why:

Take the following scenario as an example:
A: Hey B, you are so bad at this game, why not quit?
B: Why not you shut up and play the game bro?

See where the "respect others or otherwise, no one will respect you" part comes in when B responded to A?

Let's take a look at another scenario:
A: Hey B, nice try and don't give up!
B: Thanks A, you too!

Is respecting others that difficult? For me, I don't think so. If we can all stand together to create a better CS:GO community for guiding new players through the team, that would really make CS:GO stand out as a game where players can get together to forge strong camaraderie. For those that want to leave negative comments in the post, I would urge you to not do that and better wake up. This is a game for mature players who understand how to play as a team, communicate as a team, and not for players who only look down on others and give absolutely no guidance at all.

For the CS:GO moderating team, I appreciate the hard work you guys are doing behind the scenes to make the game a better place. I have to be honest, you guys really need to step up enforcement and add in measures to counter these type of behaviour instead of relying on old reporting technologies which are limited in capabilities.

I hope this message gets into the bottom of your heart and wakes you up before you hurt another player. Please help and spread this information if you find it useful. I truly believe the internet is a cyberspace that is safe for everyone to use.

REMEMBER, if you ever felt harassed or threatened, do not hesitate to make a report with your relevant authorities as soon as possible.

Everyone has the ability.
Seems i need some endorphine and dophamine. Now im really dont ready to be pleasure for somebody. Everyone annoying me in game, because they are ofc "experts" and know better how i should to play.🙄
You are russian, your country composes the highest number of players in CSGO by a large margin, meaning the largest pool of possible XP and possible Pro's, yet you can't make a team to win anything big like a major and the rest of your hundreds of russian pro clans are sub-par and can't qualify.
Conclusion is, yeah most rus suck, listen to the tips of others they probably know better than you.
Err.. actually no, I disagree that it is the player's fault.

Games can make people mad. Frustration occurs when the game design is bad. The players are just scapegoats. Before CS, there are other frustrating games with frustrating levels.

For example, the game about a guy in pot with a hammer. Dropping down from a height and the player would scream. :erune:

Back to CSGO. What happens when your opponent kills you? It plays a sad Da DUhhh sound, you get to fly around and you'd be unhappy when your teammates never trade kills, or simply camp and get easy kills. It WILL upset you. Maybe you're "mature" and your "wisdom" will control that anger - but let's face it, you will feel upset.

There were many forum topics about "my teammate kicks me when I'm top fragging". They did nothing wrong, they are not toxic, they just play and top fragged. There is no disrespect, so why are people upset? It's the game design that made them upset.

Now let's look at another game - Monster Hunter World.

When you died, your teammates struggled. The giant monster turned it's attention to your teammates. You will feel embarrassed and you will try to run back as fast as you could. There is no room for anyone to feel upset. Finally, when the monster is down, everyone cheered and people clap their hands around you.

This is what a positive game design should be.

Now back to CSGO. Game designers KNOW about this and they made the new silly player showcase after a game. Oh so and so is Quad kill, so and so is the best ding. Trying to add some positives.

But that is too late. People are upset during the game and not after.

The upset experience needs to be addressed. There can be so many ideas to address it. For example, allowing the opponent to click on a commend "good fight" when he was able to kill his opponent.

The upset player is not to be blamed. Being mature, one could control that unhappiness, but it is just a silent suffer. The sooner we look into the game's design problem, the better.

God bless you happy holidays sonny.
Why would you even care what a stranger has to say or if he assults you?

I dont know the person and its a game. Just give a sheet?
Mute them. Move and play the game. If he is on rage on a video game, he got some issues. In real life youd avoid such strangers.

Im on rage too sometimes but I can keep myself calm and dont blame my team or insult someone for a mistake

Usually toxic players are people who have serious life issues they can't handle. Like teenagers who can't control their hormones, they just go off. All you can do is just mute/ignore it and hope that one day, he will resolve his issue.
be right back going to the police station to report someone who said they had sex with my mum in an online game because i can't handle the internet
people are salty because this game is filled with cheaters and smurfs. ranks dont matter anymore
Converting toxic players into human beings is a lost cause on the Internet, sadly. I like the idea of this post, though. Nontheless, the best advice I can give to anyone playing this game is to play with voice_enable 0 and text chat muted. If you ever want to play the game beyond playing casually, stack as a group of 5. Playing matchmaking with 4 randoms is like rolling a dice. It's a bit like deathmatch, maybe you can try a few solo strats or two, but effectively you hurt your brain by trying to make gold out of what is presented to you
