Super low FPS on good pc (alienware aurora r9)

hey, for some reason im only getting 20-30 fps in game. i went and turned off in game recording via windows settings (i dont have the option of turning off dvr when i go through xbox). i've tried various other troubleshoots too and they haven't sufficed. could I get some help please ? thanks :)

as long as I find a fix, it doesn't matter what they say. I just got it today and my mac desktop from years ago ran it better than this. but I don't think its my pcs fault. must be a setting

Go over drivers for gpu, try couple of versions.

Best if you post the Specs. Chances are you may have plugged in your monitor via onboard video card and or gysnc/vsync is active.

I am unable to help with the amount of same build setups there are, it'd be advicible for you to post the proper configuration of your setup, like the statistics of which processor you have, the amount of ram and so on/forth.

well he specified it's aurora r9, even worst one is monster for this old, badly optimized game.

could be fps throttle but i doubt. Change your thermal paste recently?

Well, he might have specified the brand the PC it is, but has failed to specify the kind of the processor he actually has and so much more, by the link you've given, there are at least several same brand PC's, that makes it harder to define which one he, specifically, has.

I have i7-3770 which is far worse than any of the PC's that are out currently, and still can put out 250 FPS.
