Stuck With 16:9 Aspect Ratio

Please help me...

When I Played CS:GO earlier this morning I noticed that i am using 16:9 aspect ratio. i didnt switch it to 16:9 it just automatically set it up. I tried to set it back to 4:3 it doesn't work when i press apply settings it just goes back to 16:9... PLease help

Its probably monitor setting that use recommended/fitted ratio for monitor.

I honestly don't give a s hit about this but it must be because your monitor wont support 4:3 aspect ratio for this game or if it does (since did you set it prior to your post) then it must be forced back by your graphic card driver or something . This means that your monitor is supposed to be in 16:9 for most games by default for good reason . Now if you want to play on 4 : 3 AR just google the problem instead of asking stu pid kids about it .

Head into your nvidia panel and go into "adjust desktop size and position"
select scaling mode "fullscreen".

after that it should work :-)

if not go into the same panel and choose "scale on -> gpu"

Should i turn it on if i want to use black bars? 4:3 works with stretch bt i f i want to use black bars the problem occurs... Any way to fix it?

you shouldn't be playing 4:3 on a 16:9 gaming monitor anyway. it will not make you a better player. it does not make things easier to play

then you choose no scaling or aspect ratio.
