Can't Click Anything on the Main Menu

So i've had this problem when booting up CS:GO, where it loads everthing correctly, but instead of the blue CS:GO cursor, I have the default windows cursor. I'm unable to click any buttons, so I can't fix anything in-game. Restarting my computer does fix it, but only for that one session. After closing the game, I have to restart my computer to be able to click anything, and by extension, play the game. Please help.

Uhh, I just solved it 1 minute after replying by removing launchoptions -fullscreen, -full and -console. I'm not sure what caused it. But I gave it a shot since the console didn't appear like it usually does when I start the game. I also removed the fullscreen commands because I didn't even understand why I had them.

Hi,unfortunately this didn't work for me because I didn't have any of those launch options to begin with. Thanks for the help though, much appreciated

I think this might be a discord overlay problem. I quit discord and was able to click everything just fine. If you are not using discord, are you using any other software that is overlaying?

ha, nm it literally starting giving me the same problem again when I alt tabbed back in after writing this message.

This fixed it for me. Just disabled discord overlay. THX

Let the discord be damned! And the overlay option too! I had it set to 2 and when i switched to my pistol i could not do anything! i reinstalled the game and unbinded all for that garbage if discord! TY MAN A LOT!

Discord was problem for me too, input the bind once I tabbed into game, then tabbed out and disabled the overlay altogether. Working now
