I should mention, that this is in DM mode. Not Comp mode...
smg doesnt outshoot a rifle , poor netcode , poor hitreg and cheaters do , a smg couldnt even outshot a pistol , all it would take is a well placed headshot and smg is history , but due to poor hitreg its pure luck ,and smg has higher chances for frag because of amount of bullets beeing shot and therfor higher changes of hits getting registered , even if the missed the target often
netcode makes this game all about spray and pray and less about accurate aiming which is a shame
OK well Deathmatch is lots of "close quarters combat" and "Run and Gun" so yes I would say mp's are pretty strong, plus if you aren't warmed up and not getting the headshots out when an enemy is close he will just spray you down.
Ya it seems like it for DM.
In higher skill groups rifles outperform SMG
