It's been several years I know but to add on this, I've recently tried listening to lofi girl relax/study beats while studying, and unlike usually with my music - I've actually been able to focus and focus really well, lofi music is not distracting enough for me to loose focus because of it. I'm currently away from home, but when I'll get back, I want to try to listen to lofi on low volume when playing mm to see if I would play any worse/better, because I have a trouble staying calm during the match, so by the end I'm all shaking and my skill vanishes, but lofi has helped me a lot for studying, I've been relaxed all the time, I've been able to study for a very long period of time without feeling any tired, I stayed calm and focused, my performance hasn't dropped at all and that's why I want to try lofi in competitive. Maybe, it could actually help my game, time will tell.
