GTA Online still suffers from tons of cheaters for the same reason CS:GO does: It's immensely popular and tons of cheats exist
If you don't want cheaters, deal with it. Valve does all they can to eliminate cheating in CS:GO, Prime only helps more.
Likely because the game is dwindling a bit in popularity. Currently only 56k people are playing it on Steam compared to CS:GO's ~500k
Do you want me to pull out the literal essay I wrote on why "Cheaters make Valve tons of money xD" is a load of garbage? Do you seriously want all of that knowledge dropped on you?
