If cheat engine or Mega Dev Trainer is installed on my PC, does it trigger a VAC BAN?

Along with CSGO, I also play other games, some of them are steam games, some non-steam. For one of those games I need Mega Dev Trainer. so, I downloaded it alreday!! But if I install and then when I start CSGO next time would I get a VAC BAN?
Actaully, in general, "If cheat engine or Mega Dev Trainer is installed on my PC, does it trigger a VAC BAN id CSGOis running?"

If you have them running simultaneously with csgo then yes

No. Im saying that if you are running CSGO with this running in the bagground WITHTOUT USING IT. Vac will still pick it up and flag you for ban

So, if that will not run during CSGO gameplay, then no issue, right? Are you sure buddy? U see, I have pretty much csgo items(u can check my profile, all listed there) so dont want to get any VAC!!

I am pretty sure. But to be 100% secure i would recommend you not having such programs on your computer at all ;)

So its like, I install, play that game using cheat engine and then uninstall !!! to be at a safer side, right?

dont have anny cheat software on your computer.....its that simple

You will not get banned if you have no handles open to the CSGO process.
I sometimes have CS:GO open and use it on older single player offline games.

To be sure you can just close them and play CS:GO.
But having them installed doesn't get you banned.

Cheat engine will not let you play csgo if you have it running
It will give vac error
If you have cheat engine installed it wont touch csgo either

Ive had cheat engine for my single player games installed nearly since cheat engine came out
It does nothing unless you purposely try to use it on csgo

No worries! Just make sure to close things if you are actually going to play the game ( in server )
Because at that point other modules from VAC are being loaded. Should not matter if you do not have any handles open towards to process but be smart and play it safe.
