Press shift+tab and open the market window there.
It shouldn't ask you to open the bootstrapper when the in-game overlay has it open.

Since you're using Chrome, I'm going to assume you are tabbing out of CS to view the market every time.
Just click on this link and use that window instead of Chrome. It shouldn't require the bootstrapper.
Also, your in-game browser is laggy? It's probably using the same Chrome as your other window.

That's because you're using an external tab, correct?
You know this menu you're using to post on the forum?
Open the link here, click on an item and then click inspect.

Please. Just try inspecting in the client. No Chrome. No Nothing. Please.

The Steam Ingame Browser is Google Chrome or at least a Chromium Embedded Framework.

When it is not working properly for you, maybe best to not inspect items while playing a game.

Why would somebody use the external browser for that if you could easily use steam itself, when not wanting to use the ingame browser?
