Low fps in menu

I can't do anything in menu, because I have 11 fps in it. IDK why, my friend's PC crashed 2 times because of this problem.

Is that my problem, or game broken?

Its Because of the Live Matches Section in your Main Menu. Had the same prblm but its not there when the live matches thing is not present. I am sure its because of that.

Set your Video Settings on low with Player Contrast OFF and use "fps_max 0"

try to start cs go as administrator seems that it fixes a few issues with low fps after the recent patch

fps_max 0 can cause problems for some so fps_max 999 is recommended.

For the menu, use fps_max_menu 999

NVidia released a new driver today. Maybe NVidia people can try that (use the clean install option). I updated and main menu FPS went up a bit (which surprised me).

"For people who've had massive FPS issues since the operation:

Go to Steam Folder>Steamapps>common>Counter Strike Global offensive>csgo>Panorama

Rename the folder called "videos" to "videos1"

Have -novid in CS launch options

Should fix the drops, increased my FPS with ~100"

novid just skips the few seconds of ads in the start it wont increase any fps =)

Try administrator, sure. But I only use that when verifying files. It should not be necessary normally.
