Playing a different game mode to competitive while queuing for a competitive match.

I have looked a while to see if any other one else has recently talked about this, but I have not seen it.
I am wondering if it is possible to play, for example deathmatch, while queuing for a Competitive MatchMaking, I believe this is possible due to videos of Get_right playing FFA DM and then finding a match while mid fight.

You saw Get_Right using third party matchmaking (FaceIt).

I found the Clip I was talking about, that is Match Making's Accept Field. Although I am still unsure how he can do this while in soloq, I am able to do that while q'ing for a wingman if I am not lobby leader, if Lobby Leader does it then the Q stops. Does anyone know how you can Q Csgo's Match Making system while ingame (like FFA DM).

Get right probably had a second monitor sp he could play on one and then accept the queue.

KennyS, if you actually watched the video, and used panorama, you would know what I am talking about. It appeared on his screen, mid fight. It IS Match Making, and would not need a second monitor.
