Can Overwolf apps trigger a vac ban, like csgo scout, voice, recorder , or even community apps?

i mean, i just installed the overwolf by appstore, and i downloaded also a crosshair for r6 and I wonder if it works also for csgo without triggering vac it's an X on the screen and i like it better than my csgo crosshairs i was wondering if it triggers vac

In that case, you're fine.

Overwolf has been lised as an exception here...

Using chat programs like X-Fire or Overwolf will not trigger a VAC ban.

Changing crosshair without using the console commands (or settings) is a pretty bad idea

i mean it's in an overlay, an asus monitor has that crosshair option, and some pros use it on streams

The general answer that i give to this is that — i don't recommend external modifications.

As said, it's always a good idea to use pre-existing tools (CVARs) to change your cross-hair.

When a 3rd party program can change that crosshair to something like that. Then you shouldnt use it
