CS:GO - "Play Audio When Game in Background" --- remains as default

Play audio When Game in Background in CSGO, by default, is set to "NO". I tried to change it to "Yes", but it wouldn't change. It shows no error.

I can not even change the "Audio Device" once the game has started. If I have to change it, I have to first exit from CSGO, change the Audio Device and then start the game all over again.

This started the last time I reinstalled the CSGO. Before that, it was working properly.

Have you tried this for changing audio device?

1. In the console first type 'sound_device_list' This will show you the available audio devices. Remember the number of your audio device.

2. Type 'sound_device_override [number]'
