Hi guys,

After this new update of Windows 10 (Windows 10, version 1709), the black bars disappeared on CSGO.

AMD is update with the 17.7.2 version but I can not restore the black bars.

Any idea ?

Thanky you

Probably your AMD control panel settings have reset. Go to the control panel, and check that stretching is off. "Keep aspect ratio" or something like that. If your control panel doesn't exist, search for the appropriate drivers. I know of plenty issues when it comes to Windows 10 updates and GPU drivers. Couldn't get my 1060 to work for an enetire week till I fully reinstalled Windows.

Try changing not just the CS GO Profile, but universal/global settings too so that it also is set to keep aspect ratio.

Yea, first image is for global settings. And I choose "Preserve aspect ratio" in "Scaling Mode".

I just tried several different settings, but I can not seem to get the black bars. Even with the settings I used before the Windows update.

I know it's a very basic thing, but legit try to reinstall the GPU drivers. Like I said, Windows 10 updates like these can ♥♥♥♥ with things.

Ok, it's good. Just update RADEON SETTINGS to 17.10.1 and put this settings :

• DISPLAY > GPU Scaling > OFF
• DISPLAY > Scaling Mode > PRESERVE ASPECT RATIO

• GAMING > CSGO > Profile Options > Display Scaling > PRESERVE ASPECT RATIO

My black bars are back !!! :)
