My overwatch option is gone.

I woke up today and realised I have party member ban. Went in recent matches and saw one of mutual friend who was invited by my friend has been banned. Not a big deal because I myself reported him when I saw his gameplay. But now there is NO OVERWATCH option. Any idea when it will be back :/

I think you loose a win, if you are under 150 wins you can not do overwatch, and you also have to atleast be gold nova 1

Good question, I dont know anything about OW options being gone if friends of yours get banned for cheating, I guess it makes sense?

- What rank do you have? (Because you might derank because of deleted matches)
- How many mm wins do you have? (because you might lost matches and now have less than 150 wins)
- Other than that: We don't know. Just play further

@graystripe im not so sure about 5). I have overwatch as long as it exists, however when I had a potato pc sometimes I would receive competitive cooldowns, because my computer could not boot up in 3 minutes. Also why the reconnection time is only 3 minutes? It should be at least half time or unlimited, the team without a player is instantly on the loosing side with a bot, unless that player who left was worse than one. I am sure there must be a good reason, just can't think of one at this time.

First thing first you can see that i have vac on call of duty also i already had overwatch option -_- Iam gnm in csgo with over 150 wins :)

I didnt deranked nor my wins were decreased. My current rank is GNM and I have 194 wins

If 5) was actually true then no one d have ow,like come on,everyone at had a competitive cooldown at least once

Just play. If the system sees you fit for OW you'll be able to do OW cases again.

actually, there is another reason why OP is not even part of the CS:GO Overwatch Community.

1) how many times have you played with your "cheating" friend before your friend got banned permanently??????

this actually also affects on how much you can be "trusted" totally.

anyone that queues up with "cheaters" can't be 1000% fully trusted at all.

This in a nutshell.

However, you can also lose your access to it even if you meet these requirements depending on how accurate you are with your verdicts.
