Whats harder CSGO or VALORANT?

I have been playing valorant since its open beta release and of all the games i have played i really can't seem to find my "100% competitive side" Every time its just always me having a good time. Although i can obviously point out i have spent more hours in CSGO than in VALORANT, i feel that VALORANT feels easier compared to CSGO. I've been arguing with a friend of mine who thinks VALORANT is harder than CSGO because it has "Different Agents with Different Abilities/Utilities" that we have to master. He also describes CSGO to be easier because it only has 5 utilities. In other words he describes VALORANT to be more harder because its more complex than CSGO.

The way i tried to point it out to him is that sure CSGO has a lot more simplicities than VALORANT but those simplicities are what makes it harder to master than VALORANT. For instance. Bunny hopping is less useful compared to CSGO, U can't strafe in VALORANT, Spray pattern is RNG when u spray for about half your magazine, the AWP in valorant has a slower equip time, Raw aim is harder in CSGO, overall movement is just better in CSGO than in VALORANT. I told my friend that different agents with different abilities have counters in certain situations that has more limits compared to CSGO which is another thing i told him about VALORANT having a lower skill CAP but he said the opposite thing to me. He said those are the reasons why VALORANT is harder.

Sure the game is still new and still have more time to grow but as of now i think CSGO is still harder than VALORANT. Anyway what do u guys think is harder?

Valorant just has a lot to offer right now, new agents, power-ups, guns etc. So it may look hard in the beginning. But, after the learning curve is flattened, I don't think CS:GO and Valorant are any different as any FPS game should be. Valorant literally took CS:GO and wrapped it like a new candy.

Man, Valorant's Vanguard compared with Soul Ban is literally the best thing that can happen to any FPS game. They even have developers sneak into the cheat developing groups just to mess with them LOL. Cheaters are desperate AF right now. I hope CS:GO would do something like that but I know it won't ever happen.

CS:GO is more of a skill-based game to play, any mistakes made will surely cost you heavily. Usage of utilities can completely change the game depending on how and when they are used. Your strongest weapon is a gun. Not every gun is automatic. With enough info, it is possible to counter the enemy team tactics. Positioning matters. You walk, run, crouch walk, run boost; available methods of movement. Normal humans except they function fine even at 1 HP.

Valorant leans more onto an ability-style gameplay, how you use the abilities determines the outcome of the game. Utilities completely ignore the laws of physics or walls for that matter. Your strongest weapon is your ultimate, turning you into a comic superhero. You can make walls of poison, kunai levitation master, teleport, freeze the ground, healing, basically wallhack etc (you know where this goes).

In fact, Valorant took heavy inspiration from CS:GO. A similar aspect in both games is recoil, however CS:GO has a more difficult recoil control due to spray patterns when compared to Valorant's bloom pattern.

Overall, in my opinion Valorant appeals to the lesser-skilled players who appreciate CS:GO gameplay without having to invest a lot of time to get better and focus a lot.

CSGO is to be honest more superior than Valorant if it is played accordingly and correctly, maps are done well with valve after many major updates and still is playable. Valorant however feels soft in terms of gameplay, challenging but no adrenaline rush. ragequitters prefer Valorant more. no hate both games, still playing both and two of them are good games. CSGO got me connectivity issue which is suck because my wifi is literally okay, Valve needs more work. i mean more, more work

What harmful ways? Okay, I haven't heard about it yet. But, I know Valve tried once and received a huge backlash from the community. This is up for another thread though as Mr. Alien said.
