Can you go lower res than 640x480?

Im just asking, im on low end pc and with the shaders now, the game is unplayable, on lobby im lagging bcs my character is there, on buy menu im dropping to 10 fps wich makes buying not possible. Im playing on 640x480 all lowest but i want my res even lower, how can i do that and will i get vac banned?

600*480 is the lowest thing you can go

Source engine Minimum resolution support for fullscreen is 480p

How can you do that? Use Intel hd/Nvidia/AMD control panel ,there must be a custom resolution option

Remember,if you are a Intel HD user use
-noubershader Launch option

Im nvidia user so this update break my hearth, but if i change my resolution to 480p, can i get vacced bcs i dont wanna throw my knife skin and my acc, im nothing to knife btw and i have so much effort put in my acc.

No,its just a custom resolution

600*480 is a 5:4 resolution but It appears on 4:3 for some reason

You can , but if you go under 480p the Game wont be able to run on fullscreen

You can put any number bigger than 480 but less than 640 as width as long as you dont change the height of 480,you ll be able to play fullscreen

I tested It back on the day,but not with every number between 480 and 640 as width

jesus u should consider upgrading your PC if you cant run CSGO on the lowest settings

Honestly, your best bet is to buy a cheap dell/business PC and putting a cheap GPU in it, you'll get better gameplay that you'll ever get with your current setup, and it'll be cheap too (around 50$ if you're a a little patient)

i haven't visited this youtube channel recently but, TechYesCity is a great place to educate yourself on cheap but good pc parts that'll get you the best bang for the buck

yo I don't really know if you're onto this topic but i'm kinda in the same situation with this guy, i gotta get lower than 640x480 but when i get into the game it doesn't show up, i created 600x480 before that. hope you can help me

yes you can... use a program called "CRU" and play the game in windowed full screen
in CRU you can create any resolution you want in Windows
