I am in Europe but want to try to play on North American servers. Is that possible?

Basically, I am European and I am in Europe, but I want to try to start playing NA Faceit. Distance between my city and New York is 8000 kilometers. I have pretty good internet, but I am afraid that my ping will be too high for me to play. What do you guys think, is it even possible to play with little to no techincal problems on NA servers?

No offense, but why would you want to do that? Just curious.
A VPN always makes your ping worse and even if you were to play without one on NA servers you would propably still have like ~100ms ping

Ping will always be an issue with a distance like that. Having a higher upload- or download speed won't make electricity go faster.

Depending on where you are and how good your ping is you can set the maximum acceptable ping to something like 20. A friend of mine has a 5ms ping on a regular basis (Stuttgart, Germany).
TBH I dont think you would be having a good time on NA servers playing a competetive game with that ping. Just try to get yourself some gud teammates

You can create firewall rules to block all Valve servers and then open just the servers you want to play on. That's what I do.

When you think you have all of the IPs to block, you can test by blocking everything and you should fail to get a match.

I'd play on NA simply because the players there are a lot worse than EU

i dont want to play with russians , thay are so cool and i like them , but i dont wanna play with them

then play with friends, why seeking for more issues

ive been playing on EU and the players are far worse than in NA but there are no LEMs in NA so EU is my only option and ive gotten used to the 100 ping
