go into your csgo files, and delete the materials and models folders. this will delete all downloaded content from community servers, such as custom player models. then verify your game cache. it will come up saying it cant verify X amount of files. re-open csgo. it will load the game as if its the first time its been loaded. it will install the missing files... and boom. you should be good to go. i did this and now csgo is working perfectly.

FYI: this is a fix to play on official servers. The cause of the issue is the custom textures that community servers use (e.g. putting logo's in maps), which you download when you join. if you delete them the game works fine. but if you rejoin and hence re-download, you will get the same issue again.

you need to delete those 2 folders and delete cache file on csgo folders
then you must check the integrity of the files and that will do it
maybe those 10 people skiped one of the steps

Reinstalling the game didn't work, but uninstalling and manually deleting CSGO folder from steamapps/common worked for me, but as soon as I joined a DM community server with textures on Dust 2 the problem returned when I tried to play a comp game after.

Valve pls fix.

Anyone who plays on community servers will have this error. So that's basically those of us who play surf, bhop, kz, retakes, FFA, 1v1 arena, etc.

The fix will probably stop working once you go back onto a community server. So I would just stop playing official matchmaking and go play on community servers until Valve implement a proper fix.

Hello, I understand there is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ problem with my files. But I do not think I should get punished for something I did not do wrong? per example. The first game, I was playing then boom kicked, but not just that, i kept tryng and it kept kicking. I looked up the problem. I wanted do step by step. So first I tried reinstalling the game, did not work, I just had 24 hour ban. I was like, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ serious? Ok ok, Tried fixing the RAM modules, then tried the game, guess what, BOOM bannned again. 3 days banned. LIke are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding? I did nothing wrong, IM literally following valve's steps. Yes I know I shoulve just done the files thing, but HOW WAS I SUPOSSED TO KNOW. And I'm not just mad because of the stupid ban, it's the fact that i was double ak, and now they put me down to the basic AK rank. AND I DID NOT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PLAY.
