I don't think it's actually related to prime or non-prime. I have a non prime account in s2 and it's just as hard to level up as this account (s1-s2). But I have 3 accs at s4 and they feel much easier to play on. On this acc, when I meet a s4 it feels like he's playing like a global elite. But when I play on any of the s4 accounts, every game is full of clueless noobs who are also at s4.

I have a theory that Valve has placed a SMURF FLAG on this account that prevents it from leveling up normally.

Prime makes no difference in your rank, Prime just tells Valve you are willing to spend money in something useless, basically.

There is definitely something going on, but yes it's not prime vs non-prime. It's an account-specific issue I'm sure. When you make a new account it just happens to be non-prime but prime doesn't really do as much as you think.
I played yesterday with my mg elite friend, i am silver 2, i carried him with double frags and the match was quite casual.
We played on non-prime accounts and enemies were dmg and mg1.
I was supreme 2 years ago and didn't really played seriously and didn;t gave a single fak about this game too much since then, when i encountered cheaters after cheaters, but rarely i meet non-cheaters and is preety enjoyable.
I didn't had a problem meeting smurfs too, didn't met a single pro ever in this game, also youtubers are mostly cheaters, for views and silly subscribers (I love it when they complain about vac and then admit it :P )
2 years ago, when i played casual, i often went to enemy team to balance scores, then returning to my team and winning, if i play with friends and enemies are nice guys, we usually try to let them reach us and make ties, cuz on ties everyone win, i ranked up lots of times from ties.
Edit: in prime, paid prime, are most cheaters, cuz they do not risk getting vac via linked accounts so they still enjoy with their monthly fee paid cheats, some hide them well, some don't bother too much and just headshot you and you team anywhere you are, no matter that you walk on shift and unseen, a hallway and he pre-fire you and then 360 and headshot the rest of your team, in 2 or 3v1, 1 is enemy xD

My theory is that since non prime is filled with mostly new players they have easier games hence their higher rank. I have prime by the way its just something I have started to notice when I play with my non prime friend maybe its just my account though

feel the same. I have non-prime account with GN2 and on prime I have S3. Non-prime matchmaking is a lot easier. When I play prime MM it feels like I am playing against lems. Crisp crosshair placement and solid prefs. I think there is a lot of smurfs that just buy accs and play for fun. And also when you have a lot of matches played you simply can't get out of silver rank.

not true.
prime silver 1 is full of smurfs.its harder to be silver 1 in cs go than global.
but i agree gold novas on non prime are not too good
